Backstory

The Quarian without a home and without a cause. Toliver gave up his last name when his wife and children were taken by Collectors and the people of his ship ran and hid instead of coming to their aid. His ship was part of a small flotilla that was travelling at a distance behind the main Migrant Fleet. The other ships nearby flew away as soon as the Collectors attacked in an effort to find security in numbers back with the main fleet. Toliver fought on, desperate to get his family back until the ship's reactor exploded and he was knocked unconscious under a pile of debris.

A few days later, Elliot Wolfe's ship, the Fortune Runner, found the derelict ship and came on board hoping to find some tech to salvage and sell. Pandora found Toliver, half buried and barely alive. Something in her could feel the pain and anger still inside him which led her to drag him free and brought him to the Runner's medical bay. When he awoke, Toliver thanked Pandora, Elliot and his team but said that he would have rathered stay on the ship and died. Without the love of his family and the loss of respect for his own race his life felt meaningless.

Pandora, the Ardat Yakshi assassin has taken it upon herself to try and bring meaning back to Toliver's life by cultivating his desire for revenge against the Collectors. She has also offered on numerous occasions to screw some emotion back in to him but he always politely declines. A gentleman and formerly a loving family man, Toliver comes across as well mannered and quiet.

Toliver now runs with Elliot Wolfe's mercenary group, the Bloodwolves. He is the definition of gunslinger, whether dual wielding pistols or taking out his targets from a distance with his sniper rifle. He and Elliot often compete to see who can draw their weapon faster.

Though Toliver himself would tell you that he doesn't have a lot of reasons to live, except to slot any Collector he sees, he has found himself in a new sort of family with Elliot and his ragtag group.
